Oh my goodness! Sometimes it feels like time is standing still, or maybe it is me, but I must remember that time is moving and sometimes the only progress that can be made is to watch the time pass!
The day after my last post I received a call from my doctor's office telling me that they wanted me to come in to go over labs, it freaked me out but it turns out they were just telling me what I already knew, that I had PCOS and that he was going to put me back on meds to help. While I was there the Doctor asked me when he will meet with my surrogate and I explained that our friend and surrogate does not live in Washington and asked if a phone call would suffice, he agreed and the appointment is made for the two of them to talk!
The next thing is to meet with a lawyer and start getting the contract all set up. I hate dealing with lawyers, but maybe this will be better than the last time!
To fill my time I am working (which almost all profits from my business goes towards this journey, other profits go back into the business, or are donated to a local charity), and trying to organize a fundraiser to help with the costs. I am thinking a garage sale/ bake sale? I don't know for sure, any ideas? This of course is in addition to our Kapipal account where our goal is $5000, which will pretty much cover the lawyer fees, so that will help! I have heard of one couple that bought candy at costco then sold it at work to friends as a fundraiser, however because I am my own boss and only employee that doesn't work for me and I am not sure it would go over well at Brad's work.
Well it is back to work for me, after being sick all last week I have some catching up to do!
