Oh my goodness!!
I hope everyone had an amazing Easter!! We sure did! It started off with sleeping in! After our yard sale the day before we were absolutely exhausted! But it was totally worth it! We met our goal for the sale even though we had to close up shop about 2 hours early due to wind and rain. Now I do not mean a light breeze and sprinkles of rain like we are use to, I mean it was pouring rain and the wind make all our tarps blow around and become useless!
We are so grateful to everyone that helped by donating time or items, as well as those that showed up to buy. But I have to admit that I am most thankful that my mother and older sister were around to help us! Without them I do not think I would have survived the sale, so a HUGE thank you to you both, and everyone else! We really do appreciate every donation, word of encouragement, and share our event (and our journey) has gotten.
We are still shy of reaching our budgeted goal for this journey, (we are at about 15%) but it seems we are adding to the grand total daily. We are gearing up to meet with our RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) on May 9th and hoping Jessi will get to meet with the RE soon after. After we meet with the RE we will have a better grasp of exact costs, timelines, and well everything else we need to know for this journey. Until then we are just working, cleaning and organizing for our next sale, and dreaming about baby(ies) in our future!
